An Original team and winner of fifteen TCBA championships, Franchise #17 has been based on Long Island for all but three years of its existence. Between 1975-1977, Islander educator Jim McEneaney experimented with foreign exchange, allowing his team to relocate to Toronto. After a series of postal strikes prevented Jimmy Mac from claiming some Free Agents, the team was returned to Long Island, where it has been ever since, writing a storied history as one of TCBA's greatest franchises.
